 🔹 Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (Screening Test) 

• Type: Objective (MCQs)
• Papers: 2 (General Studies I & II)
• Marks: 200 each (Total 400)
• Duration: 2 hours per paper

📌 Key Points:

• This is a qualifying stage only
• Marks will not be counted in final merit
• Used to shortlist candidates for Main Examination
• Negative marking applicable (¼ marks deduction)

 🔹 Stage 2: Main Examination 

Candidates who qualify Prelims will appear for the Main Exam.

• Written Examination (Descriptive)
• Followed by Interview / Personality Test
